It’s okay though. Sex in a king bed is the bomb.com [Yea, I just said that.] We’ve already agreed that in “our” house, we will sleep in a king. Among many of the things we’ve talked about. I love talking. Among many of the things that we get to do together. But honestly, quality time is amazing no matter what the circumstances. Part of me coming out here to be with him during this time is exactly about that. Dealing with the circumstances together, trying to make the best of it.

Yesterday, I accompanied him to his consultation and I know he appreciated that. We went to dinner. Sat on a warm patio watching the sunset. We got to sleep in this morning. We got to sit down at breakfast and make lame jokes like a normal couple- no rush, no time limit. We parted ways and he went to treatment while I went to the gym and a hot yoga class. We had lunch at a tiki bar. A tiki bar, mmkay?

Life is good. It’s rough, but it’s damn good as long as we’re in it together.
